The design features of CT Sailbattens have provided solutions to a number of problems common to sail battens:
• Rectangular shape prevents point-loading and provides greater impact resistance than round battens
• Hollow battens can be manufactured lighter than solid battens
• Full-length taper provides the correct curvature for battens, which can be matched with laminate thickness to meet any stiffness specification
Our extensive database and wealth of knowledge and experience are used to make the best sail battens for each type of yacht. CT Sailbattens are consistently produced to the highest quality standards using purpose-built machinery and custom-designed software. Manufactured in Auckland, New Zealand, CT Sailbattens are freighted around the world on a weekly basis.
