Press facilities

Amsterdam RAI has a number of facilities specially intended for representatives of the media.

Press accreditation
We will invite press to register for a press badge beginning of October. Please note that this badge gives access to some events where regular visitors are not allowed, such as: the Breakfast Briefing, DAME Award Ceremony, Exhibitor Silver Jubilee Cocktail and most of the conferences.

Opening hours of the press office
During METS 2012 the press office is located near the entrance K of the Europacomplex (Hall 1), Same location as last year. The press office opens one hour before the start of the show until closing time:
Tuesday 13 November: 7:00 to 18:00 hours (Breakfast Briefing starts at 8:00 and the show opens at 10:00)
Wednesday 14 November: 9:00 to 18:00 hours (show opens at 10:00)
Thursday 15 November: 9:00 to 17:00 hours (show opens at 10:00)

Parking facilities
You can park in the underground car park P1 of Amsterdam RAI, and you will receive a free exit card in the press office. To reserve space in the car park contact press@rai.nl or the Communications & PR department.

Working facilities
The facilities in the press office include a few computer (with Internet access) and a printer. There will also be a wall unit containing press information supplied by the show’s organiser and exhibitors. You can leave valuable equipment such as cameras and portable computers for safekeeping in one of the lockers in the press office. There is also a cloakroom (without attendants). For security reasons you cannot leave any items overnight.

Online press info
You can find all press information at metstrade.com by clicking on METS and then ‘MEDIA. Here you can download press releases, the logo and overall photos of the last edition of METS in high resolution to use for publication. The information is updated regularly.

Illustrative material
The Communications & PR department of METS arranges for colour photographs to be taken of important events at the fair. In addition, overall shots are taken. You are allowed to take your own pictures of the show, including areas where the general public is not allowed to take pictures. Please present your press badge to the security officer. As for taking pictures of products at stands, we urge you to ask permission of the exhibitor first.
