A flat pack anchor with no fixings sounds improbable, until
you try putting it together and realise it provides a fascinating
answer for an easily stowed spare anchor or kedge. Formed of
three interlocking plates, the design feels appropriately
secure when assembled. It also offers obvious reductions
in manufacturing impact with no welding involved. There
are stainless steel, galvanised steel and aluminium options,
in weights between 1.5kg-27.2kg.
