Damen Maaskant has announced the successful redelivery of the motor yacht Lady Esther to her owner following an extensive three-year rebuild at the Damen Maaskant facility in Stellendam. According to the shipyard, this is one of their “most technologically advanced yacht refits” to date.
Originally delivered in 1979 by the German builder Elsflether Werft GmbH & Co. KG under the name Hanse, Lady Esther underwent a comprehensive transformation that included an extension from 50 to over 60 metres in length.
Part of her aluminium superstructure was expanded, and two modern open decks were added, including a sundeck featuring a large contemporary Jacuzzi. The owner’s interior team, in collaboration with Vripack, redesigned the interiors to ensure luxurious comfort and the seamless integration of cutting-edge technologies.
She now accommodates up to 12 guests and 15 crew members. In terms of performance, Lady Esther can reach a top speed of 16 knots, powered by twin Caterpillar engines.
