In an unprecedented collaboration, METSTRADE and Yachting Ventures have joined forces to unveil the Start-Up Pavilion—a visionary platform designed to showcase the latest innovations and products from startups. This pioneering initiative marks METSTRADE's debut in hosting such a spectacular event, reaffirming our unwavering commitment to nurturing entrepreneurship within the industry.
Yachting Ventures, the global epicentre for startups in the leisure marine and yachting sectors, had the task of identifying and extending invitations to startups that embody the essence of this groundbreaking event.
Yachting Ventures organises the following events for startups during METSTRADE:

- A captivating pitching competition
This visionary initiative has garnered the generous support of RoamingExpert. The Start-Up Pavilion, nestled within the confines of hall 7, has witnessed a resounding success, with all available stands completely filled. This exclusive space will feature 15 carefully chosen companies, each to unveil their cutting-edge ideas throughout the three-day.
Lineup for Start-Up Pavilion at METSTRADE
- AirMarker AG(7.300D) is an emergency visual beacon in the form of a luminous orange tethered helium inflated signal balloon with integrated light source. It rises from a portable housing when triggered and is tethered at altitude for up to three days. The company has an all-purpose 45m height model and a pending inland watersports version with a 15m altitude balloon.
- AnywherEnergy Systems Inc. - (07.300J) is developing a small scalable power generation system based on solid-oxide fuel cell technology with an ultra-low carbon footprint. It is claimed to be two to three times more efficient than an ICE generator, silent in operation, doesn’t emit carbon monoxide and can run on virtually any available fuel such as diesel, propane and biofuels.
- BlueGrid(07.300L) Insights is a tool to inform pathways towards vessel decarbonisation. Analysis of voyage and energy profiles of existing carbon-powered vessels provides data for owners, naval architects, and boat builders to reduce energy consumption, improve vessel performance and transition to electric power.
- BoatOn (07.300C) Book is an app and web-based maintenance management system for individual yachts and fleets. It includes service history, inventory control, automatic alerts, budgeting and document repository.
- ESEA Propulsion (07.300I) is launching a very low profile 75kW electric outboard with a fixed powerhead close to the waterline and 180° swivelling leg for steering. The design is said to represent less than half the volume of a conventional outboard with resultant weight saving but offer equivalent performance and range.
- Helios Marine (07.300E) manufactures highly modular and flexible IP67 marine battery systems using LFP cells. Its other proprietary product, Helios Marine Link, is a smart IoT Boat Control Module which allows every mariner to take full control of their vessel and use a wide range of analytics parameters to optimize their boat's performance. In addition, the company delivers tailored solutions enabling clients to seamlessly transform their boat into an electric and connected one.
- iWarranty Limited (07.300N) iWarranty empowers marine manufacturers by connecting customers, dealers, retailers, and repairers on a unified platform, simplifying warranty management. By streamlining warranty registration, claims, and repairs, iWarranty helps businesses maximize the value of their product warranties. With sustainability as a key focus, iWarranty supports marine brands in showcasing their environmental goals and aligning with sustainability standards. This innovative solution not only enhances operational efficiency but also strengthens brand loyalty by delivering an exceptional customer experience across the marine industry.
- Monimoto UAB (07.300A) Trackship is self-install rechargeable battery-powered eSIM wireless anti-theft GPS tracker in a compact IP68 rated waterproof unit. It is key fob activated with alerts and monitoring via a dedicated smart device app.
- Other Skies Ltd. (07.300K) Studio Brochure offers three-dimensional creative outputs for designers and marketing staff to create virtual tours, 3D configurators and image renders.
- SEALS – Traeli AG (07.300O) is the first-ever Nano Diamond shielding technology designed specifically for boats. Derived from revolutionary technology used to protect spacecrafts, SEALS products are Swiss made and offer unmatched water and oil repellence, UV resistance, and the hardest polymer for extreme durability. Incomparable with existing coating technologies, easy to apply and eco-sustainable, SEALS products represent a significant step towards the future marine industry.
- Seaquestr Ltd. (07.300F) developed its SEAOtool as a carbon accounting platform for the marine industry. It makes the measuring of operational emissions from vessels, fleets and marine sector businesses easier and more affordable. SEAOtool captures data in a form that meets both the GHG Protocol and ISO 14064 standard.
- SimplyDC Oy (07.300M is launching a range of modular DC power modular components enabling fast configuration and installation of electrical systems.
- Supiore B.V. (07.300H) will be showing its new Solar Bimini, a sunshade with 1kW of solar panels integrated into its construction. Featuring robust construction with adjustable telescopic poles, theft prevention and an app for real-time monitoring of charge rate and battery status.
- Suspension Systems Technologies (07.300G) has developed CounterRide®, a mechanically based low-profile shock and vibration reduction dampening system said to rival the performance of active power-driven seats, but at lower manufacturing cost.
- X-Fender Oy (07.300B) claims to be the world’s first flat-pack boat fender. Comprising six foam interlinked panels, it is rolled into a cylinder for use or flattened for storage. It can also be stowed by wrapping it around guard rails and wires.
