Every year, Amsterdam becomes the meeting place for the international leisure marine sector, with Metstrade, serving as the anchor event that brings together over 20,000 professionals from every corner of the industry.  Each year, it provides a unique opportunity to discover new technologies, drive commercial growth and shape the future of recreational boating.

Alongside the exhibition, a wide range of conferences, business meetings, networking events, dealer gatherings and industry activities take place before, during and after the show, providing additional opportunities for visitors to maximise their time in the city.

To highlight the scale and significance of this annual gathering, Metstrade has unveiled a new brand video that captures how a single week in Amsterdam brings together the global leisure marine industry through exhibitions, conferences, meetings, networking events and business opportunities.

Make the most of your time in Amsterdam

The week of Metstrade brings together a range of industry-leading events, specialist forums, business meetings and networking opportunities that help professionals build relationships, gain insight and discover new opportunities across the leisure marine sector.

Highlights include:

The Superyacht Forum – part of the Metstrade umbrella where C-Suite industry leaders meet to explore the trends, challenges and opportunities shaping the future of the superyacht industry. Taking place from 16 – 17 November, this year’s theme, Accelerate the Evolution, will provide the strategic insight and create opportunities for collaboration across the superyacht supply chain.

Yacht Racing Forum - a premier B2B conference for the yacht racing industry, it unites top professionals to explore marketing, tech, design, safety, and more.  Taking place from 19 – 20 November, the event will spark fresh ideas, share insights, and build business connections.

Yacht Infrastructure Summit – a new event focused on the growing importance of the infrastructure supporting the global marina superyacht industry. Taking place on 18 November and organised by SuperYacht Times and Marina World in partnership with Safe Harbor, it will bring together the people who finance, develop, design, own, supply and operate within the sector.

Alongside these events, visitors can take advantage of numerous industry-related events taking place across the city, including site visits, dealer meetings, distributor gatherings, networking opportunities, dinners and other hospitality functions.

Niels Klarenbeek, Director RAI Marine Technology Events, said:

“Metstrade is much more than three days on the show floor. For many companies, it is the one week each year when they can meet partners, customers, suppliers and colleagues from around the world in a single location. Beyond the exhibition itself, a wide variety of meetings, conferences and networking opportunities take place across Amsterdam, creating additional value for visitors. By planning ahead and spending more time in the city, visitors can unlock even greater value from their trip and be part of the broader momentum shaping the leisure marine sector.”

Joe Lynch, CEO of ICOMIA, added:

“Metstrade is the anchor for an exceptional week of activity across Amsterdam, bringing the international leisure marine community together at a scale that is difficult to achieve anywhere else. The exhibition is a compelling reason to attend in its own right, but the wider programme, from specialist forums and summits to site visits, business meetings and networking events, creates even more opportunities to exchange ideas, strengthen partnerships and identify new areas for growth. We would encourage visitors not simply to attend the show, but to plan for the full week and extend their stay so they can take advantage of the connections, insight and commercial opportunities available throughout the city.”
