BALTEK® SBC is a structural core material made from select kiln-dried Ochroma pyramidale (balsa) wood in the ‘end-grain’ configuration, delivering exceptional strength-to-weight and stiffness-to-weight ratios. It offers outstanding compressive and shear proper-ties, excellent fatigue resistance, and closed cell structure. It is ideal for vacuum infusion and compatible with all major resin systems.
