Bainbridge Cover Fabrics for 2025

KingsGuard is a solution dyed polyester crafted using advanced materials technology.  Available in 8 colours to suit a variety of consumer’s needs.   KingsGuard is PU coated providing resistance to weather, UV exposure and physical wear and tear.  This high quality entry level outdoor fabric is versatile and suitable for numerous applications. 

SolaTX – Bainbridge has added a new weight option to this range, now offering SolaTX MAX400 alongside SolaTX PRO1000.  MAX400 is available at a width of 182cm and is a lighter weight option at only 270gsm.  It features the same benefits as the slightly heavier PRO1000, including breathability, colourfastness, PU coating with Fluorocarbon+ finish and a technical ottoman weave.  In addition, to the expanding fabric line, a complementary bias binding is now available in all 12 SolarTX colours.  

To complement both of these premium polyester fabric ranges, Bainbridge is also pleased to launch a line of high quality 316 stainless steel fittings. These fittings are designed and built to endure the toughest marine conditions, ensuring long-lasting performance and reliability.  Ideal for securing boat canopies, outdoor awnings, or any structure exposed to the elements, they offer unmatched strength and durability. Precision engineered for both functionality and style, these fittings an ideal choice for both professionals and owners who demand the highest standards in marine hardware.

Bainbridge introduces new innovations for 2025 in sailcloth and sail hardware for 2025

Bainbridge’s AIRX spinnaker cloth has long been the top choice for sailmakers globally, delivering unbeatable performance in bow-up configurations. Adding to this legacy, the new V-MAX Nylon has been engineered specifically for symmetrical spinnaker designs, ensuring outstanding velocity-made-good (VMG) on downwind courses when a pole-back setup is required.

In addition to AIRX and V-MAX, Bainbridge is pleased to introduce two significant additions to its sailcloth range:  Bainbridge Spinnaker Cruise is a competitively priced nylon fabric which has been crafted for downwind cruising sails where tear strength is a top priority. Ideal for sailors seeking durability and reliability, Bainbridge Spinnaker Cruise provides excellent value while meeting the rigorous demands of sailing enthusiasts.

Mega Panel Cruise has been designed to meet the unique demands of cruising. Mega Panel offers a wide-panel, multi-axial laminated construction that not only produces a smoother, faster sail but also simplifies the manufacturing process for sailmakers. Re-entering the laminate sail market, Bainbridge’s new Mega Panel Cruise product is designed to offer premium performance.  

These latest cloth advancements sit alongside an new development in the Aquabatten range, designed to support durable and high-performing sails for a wide variety of applications, the new AquaBatten TP range is engineered to deliver high performance and durability. AquaBatten TP battens feature precisely crafted tapers that enhance sail shape and overall performance, making them ideal for a range of sailing needs, from casual cruising to competitive racing.
