The 50m Conversion Explorer Yacht Vega

Explorer Yacht Vega has been moved into the Damen Maaskant Yacht Refit facility to convert her into a explorer yacht.
Vega arrived in Stellendam, the Netherlands in January 2024, for the next stage of her extensive refit project. Launched in 1964 from the Asi Shipyard in Sweden, Vega started life as an ice-breaking vessel that served as a lighthouse supply ship.
Over 20 years ago, Vega was acquired by a Swedish company and transported to the Penzance Dry Dock facility in Cornwall, UK, with the intention of converting her into a luxury explorer yacht.

The 60m superyacht Lady Esther following comprehensive rebuild

Damen Maaskant has announced the successful redelivery of the motor yacht Lady Esther to her owner following an extensive three-year rebuild
Originally delivered in 1979 by the German builder Elsflether Werft GmbH & Co. KG under the name Hanse, Lady Esther underwent a comprehensive transformation that included an extension from 50 to over 60 metres in length.
Part of her aluminium superstructure was expanded, and two modern open decks were added, including a sundeck featuring a large contemporary Jacuzzi. The owner’s interior team, in collaboration with Vripack, redesigned the interiors to ensure luxurious comfort interiors.
