Piston-type Steering System
With its in-house cylinder design, the Piston-type steering system guarantees reliability and high quality.
With its in-house cylinder design, the Piston-type steering system guarantees reliability and high quality. This steering solution offers multiple options in rudder stock connections, rudder angles and cylinders, which makes the installation process efficient and space-saving.
The Piston-type steering system is available in standardised series with different configurations but can also be custom-built according to specific requirements. The torque range varies from 1 up to 425 kNm.

Rotary Vane Steering System
The Rotary Vane steering system is ideal for all sea-going vessels as well as superyachts and naval vessels.
THE MOST MUSCLE, THE LEAST SPACE
The high-end design consists of an integrated tiller and cylinder which generates the same high torque at all possible steering angles. It is safe to operate as it has only one rotating part. It also requires relatively low maintenance.
This system is available for steering angles up to 65 degrees. The wide torque range of the rotary vane gives greater flexibility in choosing the rudder system.
For all vessels with a torque range up to 1600 kNm.

Atlantic Rudder
The absence of moving parts significantly increases a rudder’s life-span. This atlantic rudder is known for its low drag and low vibrations.
The slim profile of this full spade rudder ensures minimal resistance, especially with high-speed vessels. This rudder type is frequently designed and produced together with our energy saving devices, such as the Silent Bulb and Asymmetric Rudder Technology.
Best suited to sea-going high speed vessels.

Barke® Flap Rudder
The Barke® flap rudder is the solution for any vessel requiring high manoeuvrability combined with proven fuel savings.
The Barke® flap rudder is the solution for any vessel requiring high manoeuvrability combined with proven fuel savings.
With its progressively rotating flap, the Barke® rudder generates high lift forces at large rudder angles and low drag (resistance) at small rudder angles.
The enclosed linkage system of the Barke® rudder provides overload protection and eliminates the entry risk of sand, ice and floating objects.
Best suited to seagoing vessels in the medium-speed range.

Studlink chains are produced to ISO 1704 standards. Used for anchor and mooring chains, stud link chains have a central stud for extra strength. Studlink chains are available in various grades from grade 2 up to grade 3. The studlink anchor chain in grade 2 and grade 3 are the most used anchor chains for commercial shipping. The difference between grade 2 and grade 3 is the additional heat treatment process after manufacturing of the anchor chain that upgrades the quality.
