World Premiere at METSTRADE 2025: FLEXICOVER – the Universal Cushion Sleeve for Indoor & Outdoor Areas On Board

Albstadt, November 2025 – With FlexiCover, fender-design presented an innovative new cushion sleeve at METSTRADE 2025, developed specifically for variable cushion areas on board. 
The product made its debut at the world’s leading trade fair for marine equipment and immediately attracted exceptional interest from the international professional audience.

A universal solution for variable cushion shapes

FlexiCover is designed for the diverse cushion areas found on board – in outdoor zones such as the bow or stern, as well as indoor areas like the saloon. The sleeve fits various cushion shapes with widths ranging from 45 to 75 cm, offering a universal solution for numerous applications on yachts and motorboats.

Easy application with no sewing required

A key feature of FlexiCover is its simplicity:
The sleeve is supplied by the meter or as a 5-meter value pack, can be individually cut to the required length, and requires no sewing at all. This allows boat owners, shipyards, and charter operators to refresh or upgrade cushions quickly and easily – without special tools or prior crafting skills.

Durable, long-lasting, and sustainable

Made from robust, UV-resistant material, FlexiCover is suitable for long-term use both indoors and outdoors. Its durability and reusability make it a sustainable alternative to traditional covers, which often need to be newly manufactured. FlexiCover enables a fast, cost-efficient, and resource-saving way to refurbish cushions of many different shapes.

Impressive reception at METSTRADE

At METSTRADE 2025, FlexiCover impressed the global trade audience with its versatility and user-friendly handling. Particularly praised were the flexible one-size concept, the three timeless color options, and the ease of integrating FlexiCover into existing product ranges.
