Flamefield Petralite Marine Tableware
Petralite marine tableware: a new material that is oven and microwave safe, highly break resistant, lighter than ceramic, colour through the body.
A first for marine tableware: one lightweight set that goes in the oven, the microwave, the freezer and the dishwasher. PetraLite has the weight and matt surface of stoneware at a fraction of the mass, a 25 cm plate is 200 g, a twelve-piece set 2.20 kg. Independently tested at 200 °C for two hours and five 1000 W microwave cycles without damage, and passed EU food-contact rules. Break resistant, so fewer replacements. Colour is solid through the body, so the finish does not wear.
