EML 1100 / EML 1200 (Electromagnetic speed log)

Navigational speed logs

The New EML1100 and EML1200 Electromagnetic Speed logs accurately measures Speed Through Water, a parameter required by all IMO ships over 300 GRT. To fulfil this requirement , the vessel must measure along the length of the ship (1 Axis). This data is provided by the EML1100. The EML1200 also provides the speed across the ship. A parameter used to give 2 Axis water data needed by track pilots, or current predictions. This system will introduce OPENBRIDGE web-based interface.
