Langman Ropes polytex is made of special developed yarns which makes this rope very well abrasion resistant. Because of the very high abrasion resistance and excellent UV-resistance this polypropyleen rope is used a lot for the running rigging on classic ships. The original Hempex® by Langman Ropes! Our Hempex® has a better UV-resistant and is stronger than other alternatives in the market. The constructions are 3-strand, 4-strand, bolt rope (long lay) twisted or 8-strand braided. Hempex® is the registered trademark of Langman Ropes. Because of the natural look, Hempex® is often used as a synthetic alternative to hemp rope.
