Historical saga of LCJ Capteurs products

Since 1999, LCJ Capteurs designs and manufactures ultrasonic wind sensors to measure wind speed and direction aimed at recreational and professional marine use. Their double-patented technology allows a worldwide presence in marine and land-based applications. The French company offers wind vane-anemometers that are reliable over time, static, rugged, lightweight, compact, accurate, with low power consumption. LCJ Capteurs' ultrasonic masthead units are compatible with all on-board instruments.

A few years later, LCJ Capteurs is proud to offer a new generation of WindyPlug. With this new version, the principle of use is even more simplified. With a click on his smartphone, the user can access all the anemometric information and configure it as he wishes.

With these innovations, WindyPlug allows you to take full and safe advantage of our CV7 or CV7-HR ultrasonic wind sensor assets. Beyond this great new feature of being able to configure it directly from your phone, the interface offers significant improvements:

Adjust the wind angle with one click (mast angle offset)

Calibrate the atmospheric pressure value.

Choose version V2 or V3 (knowing that the first one displays the atmospheric pressure in millibars when the second offers it to the tenth of a millibar)

Set the WindyPlug instance level

Choose the CV7 or CV7-HR transmission speed

Revise your Morse code before meeting us at the METS show in Amsterdam, you may need it.

The CV7SF2 wireless wind sensor features a 16Hz wind measurement frequency, which enables data refresh at 1 Hz frequency.
It is equipped with an interchangeable, latest generation technology LiFePo4 battery that withstands a large amount of charge/discharge cycles and tolerates high temperatures.
The radio protocol used has been widely tried and tested since 2013 on our previous versions.
