THE BRAND NEW "SERIE K" RECYCLED CORE MATERIAL FOR LAMINATES

Maricell, a company with over 40 years of experience and the only manufacturer in Italy specialised in the sector of structural core materials, will be participating as a key player from November 18 to 20 at Mets Trade in Amsterdam, the international trade fair dedicated to recreational boating equipment and an important meeting place for companies, designers, and operators in the maritime sector, with a focus on innovation, networking, and trends.
On this occasion, the innovative “Serie K” will be officially presented to the public, which aims to revolutionize the end of life of waste and hulls in the nautical sector: the product manufactured by Maricell will allow material from PVC laminate waste from shipyards to be subsequently processed to obtain a new, high-performance recycled product, mainly intended for the laminate supply chain for the furniture sector.
Maricell will officially present “Serie K” during Mets Trade with an event organized on November 19 at 11:00 a.m. in Meeting Room G106, where leading professionals in the nautical sector will have the opportunity to learn from the Venetian company's managers about the prospects for a more sustainable value chain through a dialogue with shipyard experts. 
Alongside Massimiliano Demenego Della Mora, CEO of Maricell, and Massimo Cassol, R&D Manager at Maricell, Cobat Compositi, recycling partner and Italy's leading consortium for the sustainable management of composite waste, will take part in the presentation, represented by Luca Gentilini, R&D engineer with experience in recycling and high added-value regeneration of fiberglass and carbon products.
“Serie K” represents a new solution that combines innovation, performance, and sustainability, while ensuring resistance to moisture, impact, and dynamic stress and maintaining the strength of a virgin material, but with a drastically reduced environmental impact. Thanks to its quick and easy processing, it optimizes time and processes. Free of formaldehyde and harmful substances, “Serie K” fits into a circular economy model, offering shipyards and manufacturers a concrete opportunity to innovate while fully respecting the environment.

The event will also be an opportunity for the company to provide an update on its current product range, in particular on the three new main types of MYcell foams in grades F and T, their customizations and uses, including the Eco version.
