Technical reinforcements combine a textile content with other non-textile contents, i.e. from different technologies such as plastic moulding and chemistry. These are products and applications where the aesthetic value is often negligible compared to that of structural behaviour, i.e. the response to precise values of certain mechanical parameters, where the technical-technological framework (testing, standards and certification) is more important than the aesthetic-visual one.
