The ISO 9093 requires a thru hull fitting directly connected to a ball valve. Thru hull fittings in the market are well designed but not ideal for sternwall installation. By our research different OEM’s suggested to find a solution to actuate this regulation due to the difficulties on the installation. Due to the tight spaces and the geometry of the hull the assembly with standard parts in the market is not easy, in some cases even not feasible. We found a solution for this problem.
