Polyform Reducing Carbon Footprint 2024

Polyform is The Originator and the first company in the world to produce inflatable, all-plastic net buoys and fenders back in 1955.
Now we are leading the way reducing footprint in our industry!

2020: we introduced our environmental commitment and roadmap; Green Concept
2021: we launched the very first partly recycled and non-phthalate PVC boat fender.
2022: we delivered recycled and bio-attributed hard shell buoys to the Aquaculture and Offshore industry.
2023: we developed recycled purse seine floats for the Fishing industry.

And as pioneers, we decided to be the first again….
As the first Polyform has included Co2 reduced raw materials to our inflatable PVC production as standard, resulting in a reduced carbon footprint of 8%.

And the most important thing:
The footprint reduction apply to all inflatable PVC products as standard!

- Partly made with bio-attributed materials, substituting fossil feedstock by renewable biomass under the principles of mass-balance.
- Reduced carbon footprint by 8% 
- Certified supply chain by Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials (RSB) and ISCC PLUS.
- The same unique quality with an improved environmental footprint.
