Posidonia is a company that designs, builds and certifies Anchors, Chains and Deck Equipment for the Naval, Yachting, Refit and Naval Defense sectors.
It's made in Italy for mooring and towing which is qualified and certified for highly customized products.
Thanks to our Pull Test, IACS certified and the biggest in the Mediterranean (500 Tonnes), it certifies its products with all the IACS registers for the NAVY national navies of many countries around the world

Posidonia’s quick release hooks are designed and manufactured entirely in Italy, utilizing high-quality materials such as stainless steel and special steel.

These hooks are essential for mooring and towing operations, ensuring safety and reliability even under the most extreme conditions.

A significant example of Posidonia’s ability to customize its products is the quick release hook with a pneumatic piston, developed for a research vessel operating at -50 degrees Celsius. This specific product was optimized for winterization, demonstrating the versatility and adaptability of Posidonia’s hooks to meet the most particular requirements.
Posidonia announces the imminent approval of its new 150-ton quick release hook by RINA (Registro Italiano Navale).

This hook will be installed on an oceanographic vessel and is suitable for all types of ships, both navy and civil.

With an operator effort of less than 15 kg, the hook opens, ensuring efficiency and safety in critical operations.

Posidonia’s quick release hooks are certified according to IACS (International Association of Classification Societies) standards, ensuring that each product meets the international safety and quality requirements. IACS certifications are a hallmark of excellence, making Posidonia’s products a reliable choice for naval operators and industry technicians.

Our Panama chocks start from an international standard (DIN 81915) but have been re-engineered and, while maintaining identical overall dimensions, have very high SWL (safe working load), currently the highest in the world.
Our Panama chocks comply with IMO 1175 and Panama Canal regulations.
Our skilled workers have designed and manufactured an openable Panama chock made of high-strength steel tubes and plates, which has been certified. After designing and building it, we have certified RINA ABS
