Pretech Marine Commercializes Parallel Dual-Drive Hybrid System for Boats

The Parallel Dual-Drive Hybrid System features a single electronic control interface that allows boaters to operate combustion engines and electric outboards either simultaneously or selectively. High-output combustion outboards handle high-speed cruising, while 6–20hp electric outboards paired with 48V LFP batteries deliver quiet, zero-emission maneuvering during low-speed tasks like docking, idling, and fishing.

By adding a compact 48V LFP battery setup, the system significantly lowers initial investment costs compared to high-voltage electric systems while reducing marine fire risks. It automatically recharges the batteries during high-speed gas propulsion and supports fast V2L charging within one hour. Built entirely with 100% proprietary Korean technology, it integrates standard CAN communication ports, enabling easy compatibility with future autonomous and AI-driven vessel modules without patent or technical dependencies.
