HiBlade 6750Wh 48V Hybrid Solid State Lithium Battery

Hybrid solid state 48 V battery, 6,750 Wh in 29 kg. It tests every cell every day with EIS and names the fault weeks before it happens.

6,750 Wh and 29 kg: forty-two hybrid solid state cells on edge, 150 A continuous, IP67, plug and play with Victron. Once a day the Quasar BMS sends a small test signal through every cell and reads four separate resistances, then compares them with the day the battery was built. Fifteen fault types are named weeks before any alarm would sound, from a loose weld to lithium plating. The first marine battery to do this on board, every cell, every day.

Quasar ONE reads the networks a boat already has, builds a live model of it in the cloud, checks it every 15 minutes for the early signs of 60 faults.

When an alarm occurs on a vessel, the problem may ruin a trip. Quasar ONE reads NMEA 2000, Victron, switching and Bluetooth, keeps every reading in a live model of the vessel and assesses it every fifteen minutes against its own history, the physics of each component and sister vessels. Sail-by-wire replaces the mechanical link between wheel and rudder with an electronic signal. The helm sends a command and an actuator moves the rudd

Sail-by-wire removes the cable, rod or hydraulic line between the wheel and the rudder. The helm becomes a sensor sending a command over a network, and an actuator at the rudder carries it out and reports back the angle it achieved, not the one it was asked for. Helm stations can sit anywhere and there is no mechanical run to route. Steering feel, ratio and end stops are set in software rather than by hardware, and the autopilot drives the same actuator instead of needing its own.
