Ratchet for Seldén CXr Code furler

Prevents unintentional unfurling during hoisting and makes furling the sail less exhausting.

Works in both directions. Before unfurling, to unlock drum, make a short and distinct pull of the furling line in same direction as you want the drum to spin. • If you want the drum to spin clockwise, pull the line from the starboard side of the drum. • If you want it to spin counterclockwise, pull from the portside. With Seldén’s ratchet system, you can pause midway without any issues. The ratchet is strong enough to hold the load and resist the torque from the sail.
