ShipBS

The ShipBS module, monitors a bank of 12, 24 or 48V batteries within a ShipHeart™ system.

The ShipBS module (Ship Battery Sensor), supervises a 12, 24 or 48V battery pack within a ShipHeart™ system. It measures currents up to ± 380A and accepts overloads (starting current, for example) up to nearly 2000A. The ShipBS module continuously measures the battery's terminal voltage, internal temperature and, of course, its differential current. This processing, partialy covered by Koriolan's patent, provides detailed information on the status of the battery pack.
