Air handler systems regulate cabin temperatures and are normally located in machinery spaces, helping keep living areas quieter while improving service access. Because the chiller is centrally located, an insulated chilled-water loop is required to feed multiple air handlers. Valves on the flow and return connections provide isolation for servicing or replacement, allowing other air handlers in the system to remain operational.
