Chemical tempered glass has increased strength and thermal shock resistance. It is therefore predominantly used in yacht and ship building. With the glass submerged in a salt bath, an ion exchange process is carried out on the surface of the glass. This preserves the surface flatness and also ensure high visual quality of the glass. The reduction in the total weight of glass units is another benefit of our Hero-URG.
