Double stroke gas spring
Two force ranges, one solution
For particularly demanding applications where high initial and final forces are required, our double-stroke gas springs are the optimal choice. They consist of two differently filled pressure tubes and thus offer two force ranges that are perfectly matched to the force requirements of the hatch. Available in steel and stainless steel (V2A and V4A), these springs enable easy manual operation of even heavy hatches up to 800 kg with a wide opening angle.

Due to its design and the ability to gently slow masses of over 100 kg moving in a straight line, the SDD provides considerable added value in various industries. The system is available in larger production batches and can be used for weights from 40 to 400kg

Our tension springs are used whenever conventional gas pressure springs reach their limits and flexible, space-saving solutions are required. Thanks to our modular system, we can offer you many customizations and extras as standard.
