The Metstrade Young Professionals Club is where the next generation of marine industry talent comes togethe. Created for ambitious professionals up to 40 years of age, the Club is your home base at Metstrade to connect, learn and grow. Meet peers and industry leaders, gain fresh insights and explore new career opportunities, at the show and online all year round.
The Young Professionals Club is located near Entrance C, adjacent to Hall 13.
2026 programme
Three days of inspiration, created with leading industry partners. Each day you can meet an industry leader up close in an informal meet & greet:
- Bruno Thivoyon, CEO of Groupe Beneteau (Tuesday),
- Espen Øino, leading yacht designer (Wednesday)
- and Norbert Leifeld, CEO of Bavaria Yachts (Thursday).
You can also join interactive sessions with World Boating Day, The Magenta Project, SuMoth and The Foiling Organization, take a guided tour of the show floor, and end each day with networking drinks.
Metstrade Student day (16+)
Curious about a career on the water? On Thursday 19 November, students aged 16+ get a unique look inside the world's largest leisure marine trade show.
- Raymond Dijkstra, Structural Engineer at Van Oossanen Naval Architects, shares how he turned his passion into a career in yacht design.
Meri Kajaia of World Boating Day takes you behind the scenes of boating and the professions shaping its future.
After lunch, explore the show floor on a guided student tour.

As a member, you get free access to the Metstrade Official Opening & DAME Design Awards on Tuesday 17 November (08:00–09:30), including breakfast and the keynote by Bruno Thivoyon. Every day from 14:00 to 15:00 you can also join a guided tour of the show floor, led by Kim Hollamby of Hollamby Partnership, and discover the most exciting innovations together with fellow young professionals.
