It allows faster infusion compare to external flow media. It is 100 x more permeable than traditional reinforcements as NCF or Woven Roving. Bi-directional (0°/90°) warp and weft woven carbon fabric.
C-weave areal weights range from 160 g/m2 to 1200g/m2 in different weave patterns such as Plain, Twill and Harness Satin. Available carbon fiber tows include: 3K, 6K, 12K or 24K in HS (High Strength), IM (Intermediate Modulus) or HM (High Modulus). Benefits Outstanding visual quality for cosmetic parts. It may be balanced or unidirectional, fixed or not, made using glass, polyester, aramid or other fibers. FX enables the positioning of CHOMARAT glass reinforcement products. FX is a key function to ease the production of large parts with complex geometries in closed mould processes.
