Thermoformed structural foam core kits

Curve Works offers the world’s first 3D thermoformed foam core kits – our 3D Core Kit™. We have replaced traditional core laying methods with a brand new approach: we provide curved structural core kits, with low-to-no springback, enabling a much faster, and therefore much lower cost of, installation.

3D Composite Kits

Enabling modular builds of large composite structures without the waste from tooling.

Our kits of pre-shaped panels are composed of panels, with skins on one or both sides, which can be assembled into a completed structure of unlimited size. The panels are assembled on simple jigs and bonded together. No moulds are required. For one-off structures, the approach reduces cost by 40%, lead time by 50% and material use by 70%. Our 3D Composite Kits have Approval in Principle status from Bureau Veritas.

MariSHIELD

Lightweight armour for marine structures against multi-impact, abrasion and beaching damage

Developed together with Kemeling, MariSHIELD is a protective composite layer that can be bonded to an existing composite structure. Consisting of an HDPE outer skin, high-strength fibre reinforcement and energy absorbing foam core, these layers work together to form a highly damage-tolerant structure. MariSHIELD is suited for critical marine applications including patrol boats, landing craft as well as hard-working structures including pontoons and transport barges.
