Seldén’s Nail Terminal is a solution for Anti-Torsion cables, developed to enable quick, safe and reliable assembly of downwind furling systems.
Seldén Nail Terminal simplifies installation process while maintaining full strength and torsional rigidity of AT-cable. Made of machined anodized aluminium, the terminal is a female fitting in which the AT-cable is inserted. Sharp hardened stainless steel nails are driven through terminal and cable with a vise. As opposed to screws, nails do not fray the filaments of the cable. Swedish patent application No. 2550668-4 (filed June 27, 2025)
