Bridge Pyrotechnics
Comet & Pains offer a range of SOLAS bridge safety pyrotechnics, including 250 meter Line Throwers and Light and Smoke MOB devices.
Wescom Group offer Comet and Pains Wessex branded 250 meter line throwers and replacement rockets. We also offer an automatic light and smoke MOB device which SOLAS requires one of these markers to be mounted on each bridge wing attached to a 4kg lifebuoy. Wescom's MOB's come with a 15 hour flashing lights and distinct orange smoke.
sMRT ALERT DSC AIS Man Overboard
Award winning Man Overboard device that offers class M DSC & AIS alerts, water activation, acknowledgment confirmation, App management, easy fitting.
The sMRT ALERT represents the digitisation of Man Overboard (MOB) beacons, with two-way signalling, real-time location tracking via AIS (Automatic Identification System) and using DSC (Digital Selective Calling) to alert nearby vessels to the call for help. The sMRT ALERT’s user focused safety innovations have been recognised at this year’s METSTRADE exhibition by being nominated for a coveted DAME Award.

Medical Kits
SOLAS, USCG, Cat C and bespoke Medical and survival Kits
Wescom Group new range of ANP and BCB branded medical kits on stand 03.321 at METSTRADE. The range includes Category C and SOLAS Medical Kits designed to address minor first aid needs while aboard a ship or in life boats and life rafts.
Each kit contains a mandated assortment of medical supplies and equipment necessary for handling various emergency situations.
The kit expiry date is covered by a holographic label, which is tamper-proof and are supplied in a heavy duty waterproof re-sealab

Eflare Halo Pro
The HALO PRO is an RTCM compliant electronic visual distress signal (EVDS) with 6 hours operation, high clarity, dual colour LEDs, with SOS flash.
The Eflare Halo Pro is a high clarity, dual colour and infrared LED, SOS flashing, electronic visual distress signal. Utilising either Alkaline AA or Lithium user changeable batteries, with 6-hour RTCM standard run time and high detection 50 candela illumination. The Halo Pro is durable, waterproof, buoyant and includes USCG required daytime distress flag and offers one year warranty.
