Rim Drive Technology develops, manufactures, and sells Rim Drive motors from 0.5 to 75kW for the private, commercial, industrial, and underwater applications. In order to guarantee and monitor the quality of our products, our production, R&D and office is located in the Netherlands.

Our motors are 100% electric and can be used as either main propulsion or secondary drives. In addition to motors, Rim Drive Technology provides a wide range of customizable complementary products such as batteries.

A 75kW electric motor is currently in development, promising enhanced efficiency and eco-friendly navigation. This innovation marks a significant stride towards sustainable maritime propulsion.

These motors are available as POD-, steerable POD-, and as bow thruster solutions.

Entry Level Outboard and Steerable Outboard

The trim and tilt bracket is suitable for all standard steering cylinders available on the market. Therefore, it is also easy to install for refitting your boat! The bracket contains five trimming positions to achieve the most efficient way of consuming your onboard power.
