Rim Drive Technology develops, manufactures, and sells Rim Drive motors from 0.5 to 75kW for the private, commercial, industrial, and underwater applications. In order to guarantee and monitor the quality of our products, our production, R&D and office is located in the Netherlands.
Our motors are 100% electric and can be used as either main propulsion or secondary drives. In addition to motors, Rim Drive Technology provides a wide range of customizable complementary products such as batteries.

With this bow thruster box, the motor can be easily removed from the box. The lid of the box must then be placed above the waterline, so it is not necessary to take the boat out of the water if you want to remove the motor from the box. Thanks to the standardised tunnels, the motor can be easily installed, ensuring that the bow thruster is watertight and sufficiently cooled. By switching on the Dynamic positioning system your vessel will keep position via a GPS signal. With the joystick you can easily adjust the heading or position of your vessel.
