Ocean Conservation Trust
The Ocean Conservation Trust plays a leading role at Metstrade within the Next Generation Propulsion Zone, connecting marine innovation with ocean conservation. Its mission is clear: sustainable marine growth must go hand in hand with ocean restoration.
In partnership with the DAME Design Awards 2025, €21,900 has been invested in the Blue Meadows programme, supporting large scale seagrass restoration and strengthening marine ecosystems.
By giving OCT a prominent platform, Metstrade highlights the importance of sustainability, environmental responsibility and future focused marine design. Together, the industry works towards cleaner propulsion, healthier oceans and long term impact.
