Since METSTRADE's inception, The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) has been leading the charge for the USA Pavilion. We are proud to announce that this year, 2016, we will host the largest ever USA Pavilion at METSTRADE. With almost ninety (90) companies exhibiting, our country pavilion is designed to showcase the best that the USA boating industry has to offer to buyers from around the globe.
Prominently positioned in front of the brand new METSTRADE Theater, the USA Pavilion will occupy over 1,150 sq. meters of floor space in Hall 12, and will run the entire length of the hall from front to back. Also this year, we are launching a new USA Superyacht Pavilion in Hall 11, in coordination with the U.S. Superyacht Association.
New exhibitors to the USA Pavilion include Basta Boatlifts and Pure Watercraft Inc. from Washington State, Mantus Anchors of Texas, Kent Safety of Minnesota, Si-Tex Marine Electronics from New York state, MTI Industries from Illinois, Glidecoat & No-Profile Boat Lifts of Florida and Siren Marine from Rhode Island.
Another new exhibitor is Forespar Products Corp., a 50-year old sailboat and powerboat hardware manufacturer from California. Although they have exhibited at METS with their European distributor in Hall 1 for over 20 years, they have decided to also join the USA Pavilion for the first time in order to maximize their presence at the show.
“This year with the expansion of our PerformanceCare + line of products we elected not to enlarge our original stand but instead to broaden our presence by adding a second stand, only now located in the US Pavilion. Having two locations allows for less congestion but also gives way to expanding our brand reach to both ends of the show. And with the increasingly high volume of visitors to the US Pavilion, combined with the strength that comes from being a US manufacturer in this global showcase, it was an easy decision. The NMMA is the world’s largest recreational boating trade association. NMMA members manufacture an estimated 80 percent of marine products in North America, so when you source from an NMMA member, you can be confident that you are working with an established, reliable and reputable business.
