With much proud and pleasure, I herewith send you the attached press release regarding a very exciting new development.
RAI Amsterdam has purchased a 50% share from Woodenboat in IBEX USA (the International Boat Builders Exhibition), and therewith partners with current 50% shareholder NMMA. (National Marine Manufacturers Association). A true milestone in the history of the 2 leading trade shows in the global leisure marine industry!!
We very much look forward to this new challenge which we believe, will bring much trade opportunities on a global scale, and to work with the current organizing team of IBEX and it show director, Anne Dunbar. Rens-Jan van Vliet, Senior Product Manager METSTRADE Amsterdam, will continue and balance his current role in combination with his new function as the new global sales & marketing manager of IBEX. Rens will be taking care of this new combined role together with our new team member, a Junior Product Manager to be announced later this month. They will therewith both also be part of the IBEX team.
