NEXGENTEC AUDIO is founded as a company
There are some exciting changes at Genesis Technologies and nexgentec. Genesis Technologies AG has been very successful over the last 30 years as a specialized distribution company. During this time, the company has made a transition from being a distributor only to becoming a service provider and, more recently, to being the manufacturer of the brand nexgentec. nexgentec, the state-of-the-art network-based audio distribution solution, has seen a substantial expansion both in product range and in business development and, meanwhile, it has become a given in the largest projects worldwide in super yachting. This tendency will only be strengthened with its new Linux based (ngtOS) software platform, to be introduced in 2024, and that will allow custom integration to reach new levels. To be able to sustain this trend and expand to a greater international market, the company has come to the decision that a new level of focus is needed. They have therefore chosen to concentrate exclusively on nexgentec, not just as a brand but as a company.
nexgentec audio AG will from now on be a company dedicated to the research, development, manufacturing, and sales of nexgentec audio products, along with the support and services needed. To emphasise this new beginning, the company has updated its name and logo.
Its goals continue to be:
- Engineering new products to fill the niches that the pro audio over IP market leaves, so that custom integrators can work in the easiest way possible with it on board of superyachts and in private residences
- Keeping up maximum product efficiency, reliability and durability by producing hardware that is as small as possible and does exactly what is needed and nothing else
- Bringing custom integrators a common platform for all nexgentec audio hardware with the new ngtOS, so it is even easier and more intuitive to work with
- Continuing to optimise lead- and shipping times
- Providing the high level of support and service that custom integrators are used to from nexgentec audio
Genesis Technologies
Genesis Technologies AG is now owned and managed by Jens Arnaschus. It will focus on distribution and the services related to it, such as calibration and design. Genesis Technologies is a Swiss entity, focusing on the Swiss market. Both companies will continue to operate from the same office and they will be pleased to jointly assist custom integrators with their projects.
